Congratulation to Mark Golder! Triple gold medalist at this year’s 2013 World Police Fire Games.
Event: 2013 World Police Fire Games

Date: First two weeks of August
Gold medal in 900 Target round
Gold medal in 3-D round
Gold medal in Field round
The world Police Fire games are held every two years at a host city somewhere in the world. This years games drew nearly 10,000 competitors for approximately 70 sporting events which are very similar to the summer Olympics. Two years ago they were held in New York and drew approximately 18,000 entrants from all around the world. Police, Firefighters and some other qualifying public safety workers compete with and against each other in friendship and forge lasting bonds with people the world over.
There are three separate competitions for archers. I was fortunate in winning the Gold in all three, the 900 target round, the 3-D round and the Field round. All governed through FITA. I used a Hoyt Contender set at 60 pounds and shot with fingers. After returning from Ireland I harvested a nice 5×5 bull elk in Montana with a different Hoyt Bow.
These successes would not have been possible without the knowledgeable support and assistance of the Bill Hickey and the boys at The Nock Point.
Thanks so much,
